For Halloween, Arthur wanted to be an Angry Yellow Fish.
We don't know where that came from.
We asked for over three weeks if he was SURE that's what he wanted to be.
For three weeks he insisted.
But we had fun making it-
...and this is where it ended up.
So, Chicago does that thing it does with weather. Halloween ended up looking like this-
Going out to trick or treat would have been.... not something we would have wanted to do on day 11 of the strike.
We are so very fortunate that we have incredible neighbors. One of the other parents in the building organized a last minute trick or treating event for everyone. It worked out great; our building never gets trick or treaters, so many residents were thrilled to participate.
And we didn't have to put on coats just to go from tier to tier.
Since school was FINALLY in session the day after Halloween, Arthur's school decided to do their costume parade a day late.

We are so grateful for family support during the strike, and so so so happy that life is getting back to something resembling normal.
