Soccer Time!

 

This week, we arrived early to get some field time on our own to warm up.

He loved running around with the soccer ball.

And he looks good in his full soccer uniform!

Practice went well! He enjoyed the drills with the other kids.

He even hugged me on the sidelines during the practice
 to say how much fun he was having!

But no photos of the "game" because he took one look at the field and the "game" and said (direct quote here) "that looks like mayhem!" and then refused to participate. Frankly, he wasn't wrong. Eight six year olds on the field does lead to just a wee bit of chaos. But I'm happy that even though games aren't his style, he had fun practicing and running around.
