The Farm Trip 2024

We were not even unpacked before the welcoming cat arrived.

Turns out, she was just the tip of the iceberg.
The barn cats and kittens numbered 14 this year!!!

This tiny pretty princess

Do kittens grow on trees?

Inter-species hangout time.
(The chickens get along with every other creature, as long as you don't chase them)

Of course, there were other animals on the farm.
These goats appreciated Arthur offering them grass.

And the piggies enjoyed saying hello.

And of course, our most photogenic alpaca friends.
Including a baby(not pictured) born the day we arrived!

Hammock time was had.

I did a lot of reading, when not interrupted by kitties.

The sky put on a gorgeous show for sunset.

And Arthur played with fire.

He made a smores pop tart smore, which...
honestly, I can't believe we allowed.

It was hot (90+) but it was beautiful and a perfect way to kick off our summer.
We are so fortunate to be able to keep this family routine.
