Meet Blue

 We weren't intending to get another dog so soon after Watson, but once I saw this guy, we fell in love.

This was one of his "adopt me" profile photos.

Blue went on quite a journey in the last few days. He was in a kennel in Nashville, TN on Thursday, when he was picked up and driven to Dayton, OH, where he stayed overnight. This morning one volunteer took him from Dayton to Indianapolis, where another volunteer picked him up and we met her in Layfette Indiana. Truly a chain of amazing people helping us bring this dog home.

Here he is upon arrival at the Cracker Barrel parking lot!

He's a seven month old dog, probably a mix of a standard poodle and an Australian Shepard.

This was the backseat for the majority of the ride home.

When we got home, he settled in perfectly.

He and Merlin sniffed each other, and have ignored one another since.

Started to rain on the way home. 
Blue is so chill, he didn't even seem to notice.
AND he sat still for getting his paws wiped off when he can inside.

So basically, once again, we have the world's best dog. 

As I write this, he's settled into his crate to lay down with a toy.
