Alpaca farm - Rob's pics

Photos by Rob, captions by Anne

Not a soul in sight.

But when we arrived at the cabin, we were greeted...by kittens!

The cabin in question

There are 3 nearly indistinguishable kittens

They were quite friendly, as you can see.

The menagerie also includes chickens and roosters

Also friendly--for their species.

And of course--alpacas!

Feeding time on the farm!

There were several Mamas and babies, and some pregnant alpacas

Alpaca pregnancies' last about a full year!

I fed the pregnant ones extra!)

This little guy weighs 18 pounds and
was born about 10 hours before the photo was taken!

The creek had a new suspension bridge to get to a hiking trail.

Arthur's happy place.

Breakfast with a view!

The creek also features fun wading!

Very proud of his climbing!

Showing off the reason we called this one Murder Mittens.

My happy place!

The kittens would follow us on our adventures.

SMORES!

We don't understand why we can't come in?

They are plotting their nightly assault on our trash can

We named the kittens. From right to left, Baby, Skippy John Jones,
and Murder Mittens.

One of the owner's grandkid's is practicing for 4H
and Arthur got to say hello.

Rob's happy place!

"Quick, take a photo, I got all 3!"

Morning coffee with Baby.
